Glowing Pool Plaster in the Dominicana
This glowing pool plaster project was completed in the Dominican Republic back in 2019 by local architect Isabel Alverez. Ambient Glow Technology Glowing Mini Pebbles are an easy way to add a unique touch to your pool. Unlike normal pool lights, these pebbles do not require a power source. The pebbles harness UV light during the day and will begin to glow as soon as they are exposed to darkness, providing a beautiful effect that is sure to impress your guests.
Isabel started by mixing in 1/8" Glowing Mini Pebbles into the pool plaster batch. The plaster was then applied as usual to the surface of the pool. Once the surface is dry, a light acid wash is applied to wash away any residue.
