Glow Stone Installation Guide:
Concrete Paths, Trails & Walkways
STEP 1
Prepare & Pour
Prepare your site for the pour by clearing any debris, rocks or vegetation from the area. Install any formwork needed making sure it's level, straight and firmly secured to the ground. Next, pour the concrete into the formwork.
STEP 2
Seed in Glow Stones
Work the glow in the dark stones into the concrete so they are just covered by the cream of the concrete.
STEP 3
Spray on Retarder
Apply a concrete retarder and let the concrete cure. Follow retarder product directions for optimal results.
STEP 4
Cure, Wash & Expose
After the concretes cured, pressure wash the surface to remove any concrete residue covering the glow stones and if necessary – apply a light acid wash to fully expose the glow in the dark rocks to the surface.
