This unique residential project shows that glow-in-the-dark design can be just as impressive indoors as it is outdoors. Instead of using traditional night lights, the homeowner incorporated AGT™ glow materials directly into the home's architecture, creating glowing baseboards and illuminated tile grout lines that guide the way after dark.
Using AGT™ Aqua Blue and Sky Blue Fine Glow Sand combined with AGT™ Ultra Grade Aqua Blue and Sky Blue Glow Stones, custom channels were built into the baseboards and filled with clear epoxy. The same concept was carried into the tiled bathroom floor, where glowing grout lines create a striking grid pattern that comes to life when the lights are turned off.
The result is both practical and visually stunning. During the day, the installation blends seamlessly into the home's clean, modern design. At night, the glowing lines provide a soft ambient light that helps illuminate hallways, doorways, and bathrooms without the need for electricity, wiring, or plug-in night lights.
What makes this project stand out is how simple architectural details become a feature of the home itself. The glowing baseboards create the feeling of floating light along the walls, while the illuminated grout lines add depth and dimension to the floor.
